Świadom pewnych jego braków model na razie uważam za skończony, a co dziwne - podoba mi się on. :oops:
Co prawda jeśli jeszcze opanuję w zadawalającym stopniu sztukę plam olejowo-benzynowych to go pewnie wzbogacę (bo tylko tego mi brakuje), póki co jest jaki jest i po sesji zdjęciowej model udał się na zasłużony odpoczynek do pudełka pod moje łóżko. Merytorycznie niestety kicha, bo raczej na 90% powinien być w kamuflażu szaro-brązowym, ale cóż, tak to jest jak się człowiek zapatrzy na instrukcje malowania producenta...
Zdjęcia coraz lepiej mi wychodzą, ale i tak nie oddają rzeczywistości. Bo czy uwierzycie mi, że krzyże na modelu nie walą tak bielą jak na tych zdjęciach i są w rzeczywistości dość brudne?

Co on taki szary ?

Jak na mój gust, za jasny, ale ja rzeźbię w jedynce (1:1). U nas malujemy pojazdy na kolor schwarzgrau (RAL 7021), odcień jest prawie czarny.
Nazwa "panzergrau" jest terminem modelarskim i nigdy nie wystepowała w żadnych dokumentach z epoki.
Podobno jest taka zasada modelarska, że im mniejszy model, tym jaśniejszy odcień farby...

Nie podobno. Skalowanie kolorem/koloru to modelarski fakt. Im mniejsze tym jaśniejsze

EDIT 30.09.2013: I czy na pewno to powinien być RAL 7021 a nie 7020, bo gdzieś czytałem, że w 1939 r. ten kolor w palecie RAL jeszcze był a teraz już nie i traktuje się, że RAL7021 jest mu najbliższy, ale czy na pewno. W malowaniu dwubarwnym wykorzystywano RAL7018 (chyba). To, że duża część czołgów w 1939 r. była malowana dwubarwnie, chyba też jest rzeczą oczywistą.

Ja natomiast spotkałem się z teorią, że dwubarwne malowanie niemieckich pojazdów pancernych we wrześniu 1939 (co jest udokumentowane na czarno-białych fotografiach z tego okresu) jest wynikiem pokrywania brązowych plam dawnego wzoru kamuflażu kolorem panzergrau.
Otrzymywano w ten sposób dwubarwny kamuflaż szaro-szary  -  i tu są dwa scenariusze: pierwszy taki, że był to już inny kolor szary (ciemniejszy odcień) niż ten stosowany wcześniej, i drugi, że był to ten sam kolor, ale farba wykazywała właściwości płowienia pod wpływem słońca i starsza warstwa była już jaśniejsza niż świeżo nałożona farba.

Na jednym z forów modelarskich udało mi się znaleźć brytyjską instrukcję z lipca 1940 r. dotyczącą rozpoznawania wojsk niemieckich, a więc z okresu tuż po zakończeniu kampanii francuskiej. Istotny jest ostatni akapit na pierwszej stronie.

"Pre-war, 1927-1937
Between 1927 and 19 July 1937, German tanks were painted in the Buntfarbenanstrich (colorful paint pattern). The pattern used three colors: RAL Nr. 17 Erdgelb-matt (matte earth yellow), RAL Nr. 18 Braun-matt (matte brown), and RAL Nr. 28 Grün-matt (matte green). The colors were sprayed onto the vehicle in the wavy pattern, with a different pattern for each vehicle. The borders were to be either feathered, or bordered by one to three centimeter wide stripes of RAL Nr. 5 Schwarz-matt (matte black).

Early-war, 1937-1940
On 19 July 1937, it was ordered to change the camouflage pattern to Dunkelbraun Nr. 45 (dark brown) and Dunkelgrau Nr. 46 (dark gray), with feathered edges. Vehicles already painted in the Buntfarbenanstrich were not to be painted in the new pattern, unless they were to be re-painted anyway.

On 7 November 1938, it was ordered that all vehicles were to be re-painted by the individual units. At the same time, it was specified that the pattern should be a base coat of Dunkelgrau, with one-third of the vehicle covered in Dunkelbraun.

The dark brown color was very dark, making it very difficult to distinguish the colors on black-and-white photographs. Most photographs therefore appear to show the vehicles painted in a monotone pattern.

After 12 June 1940, units stopped buying paint directly from the suppliers. Instead, paint was issued directly to the units, with Dunkelgrau being the only issued color. On 31 July 1940, to save paint, it was ordered that armor should only be painted Dunkelgrau. On 10 February 1941, the RAL colors were re-numbered, with Dunkelgrau Nr. 46 becoming Dunkelgrau RAL 7021."

Pytanie, czy rozkaz był z 31.06 czy z 31.07.1940 (obydwa źródła podają różne daty)? Raczej lipca - czerwiec w 1940 r. miał chyba też 30 dni

A w mojej ulubionej książce, Bruce Culver, Bill Murphy: Panzer Colours. Camouflage of the German Panzer Forces 1939-45 jest napisane:
"In 1935, the new Wehrmacht standardized a new basic scheme for all large items of military equipment, including all vehicles and large weapons. The colour were dark gray and dark brown, and the proportion of colour to be used was 2/3 gray to 1/3 brown, covering equipment in random patterns, usually applied as a "cloud" effect or in large patches. [...]
Late in 1939, a new specification was promulgated, changing the official vehicle colour scheme. In order to save supplies of paint, vehicles and equipment - previously painted dark gray and dark brown - were to be painted in overal dark grey. It is probable that this order was not completely carried out of before the invasion of Poland on 1 September 1939. After the Polish compaign had ended, the winter of 1939/1940 was spent in repairing damaged vehicles, bringing the new Panzer Divisions up to strength and replacing many obsolete tanks and vehicles with more advanced types. By the Spring of 1940, most vehicles were painted in the single color dark gray. HM 1940, no. 864, dated July 31, 1940 standardized this order for all vehicles and heavy equipment."

Możliwe jest zatem, że nasze wyobrażenie niemieckich pojazdów pancernych w Wojnie Obronnej Polski 1939 jako całkowicie ciemnoszarych jest błędne
